The 7th annual Family Leadership Summit 2018: Principle Over Politics
The Family Leadership Summit is an annual get-together of thousands of Americans with a heart for God and a heart for America. People who go to this Summit consistently come back saying how encouraged they are to know they’re not alone, that so many are yearning and working toward an honest-to-goodness revival in our nation. This year’s Summit will feature Dr. Jack Graham, Marjorie Dannenfelser, Michael Farris and many more.

Parking at the Iowa Events Center: Parking is available north of the Iowa Events Center with entrances off the following streets: Third, Fifth, and Crocker. Iowa Events Center surface lots offer the closest and most convenient access to the facility, and easy access to I-235 and other major routes after the event. ADA Accessible parking is available at the Iowa Events Center by entering the lot south of Crocker Street, next to Community Choice Credit Union Convention Center. Cost $8. OF NOTE: they take cash only at the parking lot gates – they do not take debit or credit cards – come prepared with cash.

Street Parking Downtown
Street parking is available throughout downtown with the convenience of parking meters. Pay attention to the location and rates as many meters have different time limits and parking restrictions during certain times. (Typically no parking between 4–6pm.)
City parking garages are located throughout downtown with convenient skywalk access to the Iowa Events Center. Payment for city garages is collected each time you enter the garage. The City of Des Moines recently completed a downtown parking signage system to give up to the minute details on where parking is available in the garages. Cost: Varies depending on the garage.
Understanding the venue
The Community Choice Credit Union Convention Center includes the following levels:
Skywalk level: you will enter on this level. Breakout sessions, lunch vendors and some exhibitors will
be on this level.
Ballroom level: this is where the event will take place. This is also where exhibitor booths will be.
Restrooms are located on each side of the ballroom as well as each end of the skywalk level.
Photography is allowed in the auditorium as long as it is not a distraction.
Please silence your cell phones at all times while in the main auditorium, but please feel free to Tweet and Facebook about the Forum using #FLS18 and step out of the main ballroom to take calls.
Exhibitors There will be a number of exhibitors and booths at The Summit located outside of the ballroom and the Skywalk level.
ADA Accessible Instructions
You can have someone drop you off at the 3rd Street Entrance, go up the escalator and request a wheelchair if needed. ADA Accessible parking is available at the Iowa Events Center by entering the lot south of Crocker Street, next to Community Choice Credit Union Convention Center. Cost is $8
The first aid station is located on the Skywalk level in the northeast corner. Please find someone with a staff of volunteer lanyard if you need assistance.
Wristbands and lanyards will be required each time you enter the Events Center.
